We assess physical and behavior and work with the cats/dogs to find the best suitable match. It is our goal that each cat or dog that comes to our shelter ultimately be placed in their "furever" homes. Home Fur Good has trained adoption counselors to review and question any potential problems/issues with application. We do require an adoption fee which ranges for dogs $150-$300 and for cats $50-$100. All cats and dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and vet checked. All-Volunteer adoption placement organization for rescued dogs and cats.

And one of the things we deeply appreciate about them is that they are not pushy or judgmental. Due to the COVID virus, we are limiting the number of people at the shelter at any one time. All volunteers need to sign-up in advance for this reason. Owning a dog motivates us to go outside often to exercise and have fun together. We benefit from these activities, including lowering the risk of depression.
